Construction Budget
Following is a sample of our typical construction budget format. Our estimate is computed by a combination of methods. Historical job-cost figures generated from our previous projects make up the database for our estimates. General information of the materials, products and their respective quantities is then taken from your building plans. We then combine and assemble this information to create a preliminary construction budget. All estimated costs have been generated from historical data, actual estimates or allowances.
Because your home is a unique expression, specific materials, products and methods of application decide actual costs. The preliminary budget we provide serves as a general guideline for the construction cost of your home. This preliminary budget may also act as a yardstick to develop, track and achieve specific budget goals.
To develop an accurate and detailed final budget it is necessary to specify every material and product used in the construction of your home. Obviously variables in quantity, quality, availability, warranty and installation methods are some factors that will affect the final construction budget.
Fixed bid projects may require the use of allowances. If it is impossible or deemed unnecessary to predetermine all detail in the construction of your home, we can generate allowances for certain items or groups of items.
